What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?

General Responsibilities

In a cutting-edge manufacturing environment, the candidate will be called upon, according to the supervisor or team leader's directives, to work from drawings, work methods, sketches, or verbal instructions, in order to produce pieces of varying degrees of complexity. The finishing bench balancer must work on a wide variety of engine parts of different designs and types of materials.

They will use prescribed tools to shape parts, perform drilling, deburring, scraping, shaving, and polishing operations. The chosen candidate will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections on the parts during the manufacturing process.

• This position is set in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires a basic understanding of English to comprehend certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may originate from international organizations.

Education

• DEP in machining, sheet metal, or related training
• Field of study: Aeronautics (asset)

Asset

• Ideally one to two years of experience
• Manual labor skills
