Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Firmware Developer passionate about embedded systems, low-level development, and connected products to join a team that designs innovative IoT solutions, including smart cameras for demanding environments.

You will play a key role in the development and evolution of embedded platforms. You will participate in the design of firmware architecture, the integration of new hardware components, and the optimization of performance to offer a reliable and performant user experience.

Discover your future responsibilities

  • Design and evolve the architecture of embedded platforms.
  • Develop and integrate firmware on existing and new architectures.
  • Design interfaces between firmware, hardware, and various software modules (network, security, artificial intelligence, image processing, etc.).
  • Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical alignment between different teams.
  • Document embedded architectures, technical specifications, and design choices.
  • Evaluate the integration of new SoCs, sensors, and hardware components.
  • Develop, adapt, and optimize software libraries for different embedded environments.
  • Participate in the integration of new components and the evolution of product features.
  • Perform validations directly on prototypes and lab equipment.
  • Debug, instrument, and optimize the performance of critical features.
  • Validate firmware behavior on final hardware and adjust developments based on observed results.
  • Collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, AI, Product, and Architecture teams to develop robust and innovative solutions.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and communities of practice around embedded products.

Technical Expertise

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Firmware development.
  • Excellent mastery of the C language in embedded environments.
  • Solid experience in embedded development under Linux, including kernel space development.
  • Good knowledge of Yocto or a customized Linux distribution (image creation, BSP, library integration).
  • Excellent mastery of low-level development:
  • Drivers
  • Memory management
  • GPIO
  • RTC
  • I2C, SPI, and UART protocols
  • Good understanding of microcontrollers, embedded processors, and System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures.
  • Experience in integrating code into complex existing platforms.
  • Experience with image sensors or video capture systems is a plus.
