Lactanet is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to oversee information technology operations, application development, digital platforms, technological infrastructure, and artificial intelligence governance. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that technological services, applications, organizational data, and new digital capabilities effectively support Lactanet's strategic priorities while maintaining the highest standards in security, regulatory compliance, and data confidentiality.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead technological strategy, risk management, service performance, IT investments, and responsible innovation, including the integration of artificial intelligence solutions. You will direct and develop multidisciplinary teams while collaborating with the entire organization to ensure the effective execution of technological initiatives and the creation of measurable business value. Through your leadership, you will contribute to advancing Lactanet's digital transformation and supporting the organization's long-term success.

Job Overview

  • Define and implement Lactanet's IT and digital strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, business priorities, and future growth objectives.
  • Lead and guide technological operations, applications, infrastructure, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure that technological services, systems, and platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and effectively meet the organization's operational needs.
  • Identify emerging technologies and innovation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and create measurable business value.
  • Lead cybersecurity, personal information protection, technological risk management, and governance initiatives to ensure the protection, confidentiality, and appropriate use of the organization's information assets.
  • Supervise the development, maintenance of applications, and technological projects, ensuring effective prioritization, optimal resource allocation, and successful delivery.
  • Ensure operational resilience through effective service management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure strategic governance of artificial intelligence and responsible adoption of emerging technologies, balancing innovation, security, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Manage IT investments, budgets, technological assets, and vendor relationships to optimize performance, value, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead, develop, and support multidisciplinary teams by fostering collaboration, accountability, innovation, and an operational excellence culture throughout Lactanet.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in information technology, digital transformation, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in management, business administration (MBA), digital transformation, or a related field is an asset.
  • Any relevant certifications in project management, cybersecurity, IT governance, or technological service management will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT operations management, technological service delivery, and strategic initiative implementation.
  • Experience in IT budget management, technological investments, and strategic vendor relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft, Linux, AIX technologies, and virtualization environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, technological risk management, and personal information protection.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, including their business applications and governance considerations.
  • Bilingual (French and English) with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mobilize large multidisciplinary teams, including employees working in different sectors and operating in hybrid and remote environments.
  • Recognized experience in change management, including organizational transformation, new technology adoption, process improvement, and organizational culture evolution.
  • Excellent executive judgment, strategic thinking, managerial courage, and high sense of accountability.
  • Ability to balance innovation and digital transformation with operational stability, security, and business requirements.
  • Work Conditions

Ideally based at Lactanet's headquarters in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (Quebec), with the possibility of discussing a telework/hybrid formula. Occasional hours outside of normal working hours may be required, as well as some travel, in accordance with the responsibilities of the position.
