Accounts Receivable Clerk - Real Estate Sector

Our client is a family-owned and a Quebec-based real estate manager present for over 50 years. Recognized for the quality of its services and its human approach, the company manages an important portfolio of commercial buildings, office spaces, and hotel facilities across Quebec.

In the context of its growth, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join its accounting team.

Your role:

You will be responsible for the management of accounts receivable and collection, while contributing to various essential accounting activities that ensure the smooth functioning of the company.

St-Eustache, Quebec (100% in-person)

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 + annual bonus 37.5 hours/week | Monday to Friday

Summer schedule with Fridays ending at 1 PM

Your main responsibilities:

• Invoice rent, electricity, and other fees;
• Collect client accounts and track payments;
• Record tenant deposits and daily bank deposit tracking;
• Open and close tenant files from leases;
• Perform client account reconciliation;
• Participate in the annual budgeting process;
• Perform account analyses, journal entries, and bank reconciliations;
• Use the accounting software Yardi;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of department processes.
• Desired profile:
• Diploma in accounting;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Mandatory experience in the real estate sector;
• Good mastery of Excel and Microsoft Office suite;
• Bilingual French/English (oral and written);
• Excellent negotiation and collection skills;
• Meticulousness, autonomy, sense of organization, and team spirit.
