Construction Site Manager in Electrical Engineering

The team currently consists of over 150 dynamic and engaged engineers and technicians, distributed across our 14 offices (Bromont, Quebec, Montreal, Repentigny, Brossard, Sainte-Thérèse, Piedmont, Gatineau, Mont-Tremblant, Mont-Laurier, Val-d’Or, Toronto, Ottawa, and Moncton). THE POSITION

The thriving company is seeking a Construction Site Manager in Electrical Engineering to meet the growing demand from its client base in the Greater Montreal area.

The operational area for this position covers the Greater Montreal. However, the person may work from their preferred office, which can be Montreal, Sainte-Thérèse, Brossard, or Repentigny.

Within the team, you will be responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating activities on construction sites. You will be called upon to perform the following tasks:

• Supervise work on construction sites;
• Verify the compliance of work according to plans, estimates, and applicable standards;
• Actively participate in site meetings;
• Prepare site visit reports;
• Review and comment on workshop drawings;
• Answer technical questions raised on the site;
• Prepare change notices and site directives;
• Analyze the costs of change notices;
• Prepare deficiency lists;

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical training in building electrical engineering;
• Relevant experience in site supervision;
• Certificate of completion for the General Health and Safety course for construction sites;
• Sense of initiative, attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
• Knowledge of different codes and regulations;
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
