Are you a carpenter looking to work on concrete projects, use high-quality materials, and be part of a human and dynamic team?

At Boiseries Métropolitaines, we manufacture custom staircases and interior finishing products. We are looking for a meticulous carpenter who appreciates quality work.

Your role

• Manufacture staircase components and other wood products
• Read and interpret plans, sketches, or production instructions
• Use carpentry machines and tools (cutting, gluing, assembling, sanding, etc.)
• Ensure the quality of pieces according to our standards (precision, finish, conformity)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Compensation
• Hourly rate: $23 to $27 based on experience
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
• Annual salary review
• Hours
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Occasional overtime, paid at time and a half
• No evenings, no weekends

Requirements

• Relevant experience in carpentry (workshop, manufacturing, joinery, or related field)
• Proficiency in spoken French
• Meticulousness, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team and adhere to quality standards
• Assets
• DEP in carpentry or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of products: staircases, floors, counters
• Experience with workshop equipment (saws, sanders, assembly benches, etc.)
• Main tasks
• Cutting, gluing, assembling, and sanding of components
• Checking conformity and making adjustments as needed
• Basic maintenance of the workstation and adherence to safety rules
• Participation in special or custom projects
