Quality Inspector - Evening Shift

Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, you will be assigned inspection and non-destructive testing tasks based on your qualifications, contractual requirements, and production priorities. You will be at the forefront to ensure the compliance of our products and the smooth operation of manufacturing.

Contributing to this role includes

• Inspecting complex metal structure pieces (dimensional and visual);
• Conducting required non-destructive tests according to contractual requirements;
• Applying verification criteria in accordance with applicable standards;
• Documenting all inspection activities;
• Detecting, documenting, and following up on non-conformities;
• Reading and interpreting complex drawings;
• Knowing the quality requirements of the organization and enforcing them;
• Demonstrating independence of thought and judgment;
• Observing health and safety at work rules.

Professional profile sought

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the steel manufacturing field;
• CWB VT1 and/or ONGC MT1 / UT1 (or higher) certification or equivalent experience;
• Languages: French (intermediate), English (basic);
• Good sense of organization and time management;
• Sense of diplomacy and good communicator;
• Proficiency in office tools;
• AEC or DEC in metallurgy is an asset;
