The incumbent will act as an expert in SAS Enterprise Session Monitor (ESM) and will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and deployment of the solution within SAS Viya environments. They will guide technical teams in designing the architecture, setting up ESM components, validating security flows, deploying development and production environments, and optimizing deployment and upgrade processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the installation and configuration of SAS Enterprise Session Monitor (ESM) in development and production environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to prepare servers, virtual machines, and technical prerequisites for deployment.
• Validate the target architecture, network flows, and security requirements, and assist responsible teams in opening the required accesses.
• Install and configure ESM servers and necessary agents in each environment.
• Configure SAS Viya environments, including shared spaces and SAS environments, according to the chosen architecture.
• Perform technical and functional validations following installations in development and production.
• Produce quality reports, document lessons learned, and formulate improvement recommendations at each stage of deployment.
• Guide teams through the complete platform upgrade cycle using deployment pipelines.
• Assess deployment quality, identify improvements in pipelines, quality controls, and operational practices (OPS).
• Ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams to promote operational autonomy.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Mandatory: Demonstrated expertise in SAS Enterprise Session Monitor (ESM) and SAS Viya environments.
• Significant experience in installing, configuring, administering, and operating SAS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, virtualized infrastructures, networks, security mechanisms, and access management.
• Experience in validating technical architectures, configuring network flows, and resolving security-related issues.
• Experience with automation tools and deployment pipelines (CI/CD), as well as platform upgrade processes.
• Ability to produce technical documentation, quality reports, and improvement recommendations.
• Excellent collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and knowledge transfer abilities.
