We are looking for a Machine Setter-Tool Maker to join our team.

Here’s what your workweek will look like:

• Apply health and safety procedures for machinery and its environment rigorously;
• Apply quality assurance procedures and work instructions for your function rigorously;
• Design and develop work and inspection methods to ensure production of parts conforming to the drawing, manufacturing recipe, and standard production time;
• Design and install safe and quality tools;
• Adjust machinery to ensure production meets the specifications of the drawing and manufacturing recipe;
• Respect tolerance specifications and perform quality checks without errors, according to prescribed intervals (quality tests);
• Solve problems in your production and seek improvement in work methods;
• Clean machinery and perform basic preventive maintenance;
• Supervise and/or train Operators, Attendants, Machine Setter-Operators, and Machine Setter-Tool Makers in relation to your work in the unit;
• Manufacture new prototypes on the machines;
• Actively participate in the improvement of manufacturing processes;
• Analyze and solve technical problems related to spring production, manufacturing methods, and order delivery deadlines;
• Provide support to Technical Advisors in the preparation of quotations and the verification of the feasibility of orders.

Available positions are on the evening shift, from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, with a premium of $1.90/hour.

Night shifts are

Sunday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and

Tuesday to

Thursday from 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with a premium of $1.60, 36 hours paid as 40 hours.

Day shifts are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

During your work shift, you will be entitled to two breaks, one of 10 minutes and another of 25 minutes PAID.
