As Director of Promotion and Communication, you will play a key role in developing, aligning, and implementing the marketing strategy for the individual insurance, savings, and retirement sectors.

Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Marketing, Communication, and Implementation, you will actively participate in strategic sector planning and act as an advisor in achieving business objectives. You will lead a team of approximately 20 people to support business growth while creating value for our partners and clients.

What you will accomplish with us

As Director of Promotion and Communication, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Participate in determining and implementing the business strategy for the individual insurance, savings, and retirement sectors.
• Be responsible for the market launch, promotion, and communication strategy for individual insurance, savings, and retirement products.
• Lead the team to implement impactful, distinctive campaigns tailored to target audiences, competition, and partner needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor positioning to guide promotion and communication strategies.
• Define the marketing and communication budget and ensure its implementation.
• Act as a strategic advisor and partner in supporting the executive team and teams.
• Lead, mentor, and mobilize teams under your responsibility to achieve initiatives and objectives.
• What could accelerate your success in this role
• We are looking for a person who:
• Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or a related field.
• Has a minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing or corporate communications.
• Has at least 5 years of experience in team management.
• Has sustained experience in an advisory role to the executive team.
• Stands out for their ability to manage complex projects, prioritize according to business realities, and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrates strong strategic thinking, a keen political sense, autonomy, and a great sense of organization.
• Advanced knowledge of French and intermediate knowledge of English are required, as the position holder will be called upon to communicate, advise, and coordinate promotion and communication initiatives with partners, internal clients, and teams across the entire Canada on a frequent basis.
