The Business Development Manager ensures client and prospect engagement. The person is responsible for inviting them to webinars or any engagement initiative, following up with them, and informing them of new Léger offers and services. The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit, an interest in working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and a motivation to succeed – day after day.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team on a daily basis
  • Identify and approach new businesses and organizations
  • Interact with prospects and clients to strengthen their engagement with Léger using various methods: emails, phone, social media, etc.
  • Invite and follow up with prospects and clients for Léger webinars and other events
  • Share Léger articles and content when relevant to support client initiatives and business needs
  • Maintain and update sales and client files in the CRM system
  • Assist in preparing and distributing sales documents and presentations
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to support sales strategies and lead generation efforts
  • Serve as support for sales events, webinars, and conferences
  • Stay informed about market trends and develop product knowledge to effectively contribute to the sales process

Qualifications

  • University or college degree in business administration or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in marketing research or solution sales
  • Excellent relational and communication skills
  • Curiosity, tenacity, motivation, professional, and courteous attitude
  • Strategic thinking and ability to quickly understand an organization's issues
  • Strong autonomy and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or other) is an asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English)

The employer has evaluated the possibility of redistributing tasks or using language support tools but concluded that English proficiency is essential to performing these functions.
