The Product Manager – Rail guides the product roadmap for Eddyfi Technologies' AVS products for the global railway sector. In this role, you identify market opportunities, prioritize high-value initiatives, and guide products from conception to launch, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, business objectives, and market timing. In close collaboration with clients, engineering teams, and technical teams, the Product Manager proposes differentiated solutions that address the major challenges of the railway sector, strengthen competitive advantage, and promote long-term company growth.

  • As a Product Manager – Rail, you will:
  • Develop a deep understanding of global railway markets, customer needs, industry trends, regulations, and competition to guide product strategy.
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize new product opportunities, then translate these insights into clear requirements and roadmaps.
  • Act as the customer's voice by engaging with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product direction.
  • Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from conception and launch to continuous improvement and end-of-life retirement.
  • Define product requirements and establish a balance between customer needs, technical feasibility, business objectives, and portfolio priorities.
  • Develop profitability analyses for new initiatives, including market opportunities, revenue potential, resource requirements, and pricing strategy.
  • Track product performance using key indicators such as adoption, retention, and revenue impact.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, sales, marketing, operations, and support to ensure product success.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, balancing maintenance, architecture, and innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, training, and sales enablement tools.
  • Communicate internally the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure team and leadership alignment and buy-in.

What makes you an asset to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree, an asset. More than 10 years of experience in product management and product development.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, capable of evaluating market opportunities, defining a product strategy, and driving profitable growth.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of railway infrastructure, applications, customer needs, and global market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of inspection technologies and the application of technology to solve customer challenges and operational issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product management and collaboration tools such as Jira.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered digital tools that enhance analysis, decision-making, and productivity.
  • Excellent writing, oral communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and business teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, good judgment, and ability to prioritize high-impact work.
  • Bilingual French-English.
  • Strong integrity, sense of responsibility, curiosity, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to travel as needed for client visits, industry trade shows, and events.
