Sobeys, a major food distributor in Canada that serves banners such as IGA, IGA Extra, Rachelle-Béry, Marché Bonichoix, and Les Marchés Tradition in Quebec, is looking for Class 1 truck drivers.

Under the supervision of the transport department of the Quebec Distribution Center, the truck driver's main responsibility is to deliver food products to merchants in the province of Quebec. As part of their duties, the driver must perform secure handling of products ranging from 2 to 23kg and work as a dock worker as needed for operational requirements.

Job Requirements

• Hold a Class 1 driver's license;
• Have 24 months of experience driving heavy vehicles and multiple deliveries (including FM mention) or a DEP in road transport (CFTR);
• All other combinations of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered;
• Have an excellent driving record;
• Be knowledgeable about the laws and regulations applicable to transport and the geography of Quebec roads;
• Have an excellent sense of customer service;
• Be aware of the importance of health and safety at work;
• Show diligence and autonomy in work;
• Be in good physical condition.

*Variable work schedule day-night up to 40 hours/week, including at least one weekend day* #RSCQC
