Bonbon Bar is opening its doors in the Old Port of Montreal, and behind every shop that sparkles, there is a manager who keeps the machine running (and not just the beard trimmer).

Imagine: walls of candy from floor to ceiling, a team full of energy to make shine, and a sweet smell that follows you into your coat.

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and grow a team of sparkling salespeople
• Train new hires
• Build schedules and manage availability in collaboration with the HR team (the art of pleasing everyone… or almost)
• Place orders and manage inventory: receptions, restocks. Goal: zero empty shelf!
• Manage the cash register and deposits
• Ensure compliance with procedures and MAPAQ standards
• Keep the store spotless: immaculate cleanliness and irresistible displays
• Ensure smooth communication with the management team
• Meet (and exceed) sales targets, while keeping the customer experience at the top
• Solve everyday issues with a smile

What we are looking for

• Experience in retail store management or team supervision
• Ability to motivate, lead, and set an example
• Sense of organization and autonomy
• Comfortable with numbers: cash register, targets, inventory
• Knowledge of MAPAQ standards (an asset)
• Available full-time, including evenings and weekends
• Comfortable speaking English
• Good humor and a real pleasure in talking to people (it's still a candy shop!)
