Our engineering team is looking for an Industrial Designer/Draftsperson who will participate in the design, revision, planning, and production of standard and custom industrial equipment. If you are looking for a role where you will participate in various projects, this job is for you!

More specifically, you will have to

• Perform the design and revision of handling equipment drawings (bridge, hoist, conveyor, manipulator, etc.);
• Draw mechanical assembly plans in 2D and 3D using SolidWorks;
• Perform production setup (Excel file, printed plan, production kit);
• Provide technical support to the engineering team;
• Participate in the establishment of standards required for drawings and plans;
• Conduct technical information research;
• Prepare assembly project documents;
• Deliver quality work and meet imposed deadlines;
• Perform any other tasks as needed.

Desired profile

• DEC in Industrial Design or DEC in Mechanical Engineering;
• Experience in the field of design and planning;
• Knowledge of SolidWorks software;
• Have knowledge of the technical and manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic design (asset);
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.

• Compensation: $23.00 to $33.00 per hour
