Vice President, Kitting and Integration – Global Supply Chain (Aerospace and Power)

JOB OVERVIEW FTAI Aviation is seeking an experienced leader to head the Kitting and Integration function in Montreal, supporting Aerospace and FTAI Power activities in a growth context. This person will be responsible for the entire kitting and integration process for both sectors, ensuring that parts, materials, and components are selected, prepared, and packaged accurately to support engine and module assembly as well as turbine conversion. They will act as the primary point of contact between the supply chain, production, and engineering, ensuring that kits are complete, delivered on time, and meet specifications, in support of production and execution deadlines for both sectors.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that requires a high degree of operational rigor, strong supply chain expertise, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, as FTAI continues to grow its Aerospace and Power activities.
*Responsibilities:*
- Lead the global Kitting and Integration function for Aerospace and FTAI Power activities, overseeing processes to ensure that kits for engine and module assembly as well as turbine conversion are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
- Develop and implement standardized Kitting processes, documentation, and quality controls to support Aerospace and Power activities.
- Ensure that the configuration of parts included in kits for Aerospace or FTAI Power activities meets the required specifications for the engine or unit.
- Ensure that the cost of kits remains within established parameters and generate savings through optimal part selection for engines or Power units.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce missing parts in kits, processing times, and rework, using data and performance indicators to measure results.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support the implementation of Palantir and improve the efficiency of the Kitting and Integration team.
- Work closely with planning and operations teams to ensure the accuracy and availability of stocks needed for Kitting production activities for Aerospace and Power.
- Build, lead, and develop a highly performing Kitting and Integration team in Montreal. Once activities are fully operational and efficient, deploy processes and procedures across the FTAI network to support the growth of both business sectors.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety rules across all Kitting and Integration activities.
- *Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 12 to 15 years of experience in increasing responsibilities in supply chain, manufacturing, or materials management, including experience in senior leadership.
- Experience in the aerospace sector strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge of Kitting, inventory management, production planning, part configuration, and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, evolve processes, and promote continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Bilingual French-English.
