Industrial Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance and Logistics Assistant to support the maintenance director in their daily activities and contribute to the smooth operation of our business.

Your responsibilities

• Support the maintenance director in their daily activities.
• Prepare the necessary purchase orders (PO) for billing and manage the administrative follow-up of files.
• Collect machine parts from our suppliers when needed.
• Make trips between our two factories in Laval to transport materials, boxes, or any other items necessary for operations.
• Prepare and ship samples to our customers.
• Place orders on our customers' platforms according to their requirements.
• Ensure administrative follow-up related to maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and administration teams.
• Perform any other related tasks to support the company's operations.

Desired profile

• Engaged, reliable person.
• Autonomy, versatility, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a varied work environment.
• Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role (an asset).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with various administrative tools.

Requirements

• Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role (an asset).
• Valid driver's license (class 5).
• Personal vehicle required.
• Good driving record.
• Good knowledge of Office Suite.
• Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment (an asset).
