Civil Engineering Technician

The challenges you will face

Under the direction of the head of the design division, you will perform various technical tasks involving the preparation and implementation of civil engineering studies, as well as the creation of plans, drawings, charts, and other visual representations using various software (geomatics, vector, etc.), estimates, and preliminary cost estimates.

You will also conduct drainage studies and preliminary designs of roads, sewer networks, aqueducts, and other municipal infrastructure within the municipal jurisdiction, for the installation, rehabilitation, or replacement of municipal infrastructure.

You will also participate in surveying and mapping work, as well as video survey reviews, to support the design or intervention decisions on networks.

The ideal profile for us

Education obtained after completing a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;

Possess three (3) years of relevant experience in the production of plans and estimates, quantity calculations, and cost estimates;

Good knowledge of the Office suite;

Good knowledge of the geomatics tools AutoCAD and Civil 3D (advanced mastery);

Knowledge of ArcGIS, ArcMap, an asset;

Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;

Hold a safety training for construction sites (ASP).
