About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support the delivery of client-facing research, analytics, and reporting projects. The successful candidate will contribute to the analysis of prescription, medical, and healthcare-related data, helping generate meaningful insights that support business operations, client needs, solution development, and product innovation.

This role is well suited to someone with strong problem-solving skills, a solid foundation in data analysis, and an interest in applying statistical and programming methodologies to real-world healthcare and business questions. You will work closely with experienced project teams to design analyses, prepare findings, support reporting, and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct analyses for client reports, business needs, and research projects.

Under guidance of their manager, plan and conduct analyses of prescription, medical, or related healthcare data to support study objectives and derive actionable findings.

Identify, collect, clean, and prepare data using appropriate methods aligned to project and study requirements.

Generate, interpret, and report analytical findings to meet internal business and external client needs.

Develop and maintain programs, tools, and analytical outputs that support internal and external client requirements.

Apply standard methodologies to assigned research projects and support the delivery of both standard and custom reports.

Work with project teams to determine appropriate data solutions, develop analytical models, run analyses, and prepare written summaries of study results.

Conduct programming needed to build and run analytical models and generate interactive model results for clients, using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel.

Support quality control, data validation, data issue resolution, and related data management activities.

Identify risks to project delivery or quality and escalate concerns to project leads or managers, while suggesting practical mitigation approaches.

Participate actively in project team meetings, provide timely progress updates, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team or department.

Under supervision, contribute to programming strategies, development of project-specific tools or macros, adherence to standard operating procedures, and project communication efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, health informatics, data science, health administration, or related field required.

Master's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree considered an asset.

Relevant experience gained through internships, studies, or employment in data analysis, statistical analysis, programming, health analytics, or research analytics considered an asset.

Required Skills and Experience

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data manipulation skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data manipulation, and analytical and reporting activities.

Practical knowledge of SQL.

Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and transform results into clear and meaningful deliverables.

Attention to detail and strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and work autonomously with appropriate supervision.

Collaborative approach and ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and project teams.

Technical Skills SQL and Microsoft Office applications.

Advanced or in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Experience or knowledge of Tableau and Python considered an asset.

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies related to servers, workstations, and networks is an advantage.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of analytical methods, project design, mathematics, project management, process improvement, solution development, and problem-solving.

Ability to proactively identify complex problems and business needs and develop practical solutions or recommendations.

Ability to support analytical methodologies and approaches associated with assigned research projects.
