Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate the purchase of tools and materials according to the needs of the job sites
• Maintain the stock levels of current consumables
• Manage relationships with suppliers (delays, emergencies, substitutions)
• Produce, file, and track purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices
• Optimize costs by consolidating purchases
• Obtain the necessary approvals for orders above the threshold
• Ensure the tracking of equipment and fleet (inspections, insurance, maintenance)
• Plan and coordinate internal and external repairs
• Keep equipment and fleet records up to date and generate preventive alerts
• Supervise the management and repositioning of equipment upon return from job sites
• Maintain order and cleanliness in equipment areas
• Communicate with the distribution team to plan daily needs
• Inform management of critical issues related to equipment or deliveries
• Participate in the weekly planning of operations
• Produce a weekly report on orders, repairs, and costs

What you need to join our team

• A DEC in supply management or another relevant diploma (an asset);
• Experience in a construction, mechanical, and/or logistics environment
• Experience with fleet or maintenance management software
• Knowledge of tool and construction equipment suppliers (concrete, drilling, cutting)
• Knowledge of the 430 Act
• Comfortable with basic computer tools: email, Excel or equivalent, purchase order software
• Salary: Starting at $30.00 per hour
