Your contribution!

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the person holding the position contributes to the reliability and performance of the wind farm by ensuring the operation and maintenance of the facilities in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Your daily tasks!

• Ensure the proper functioning of the wind turbines and identify any anomalies that may occur;
• Identify, locate, and repair defects with the members of the operations and maintenance teams;
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, keep maintenance and intervention records;
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all times.

Your skills, our requirements!

• High sense of responsibility, good work ethic, and a safety-first attitude at all times;
• Resourceful and possessing a strong ability to work under pressure;
• Skill to perform manual or supervisory work outdoors despite harsh weather conditions;
• Skill to climb an 80-meter vertical ladder without assistance and perform work at height. The selected candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to ascend a wind turbine within a reasonable timeframe during the recruitment process;
• Available to work overtime and be on call when required;
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind turbine operations or maintenance. Any other relevant experience will be taken into account;
• Proficiency in French;
• AEC in wind turbine maintenance, training in electromechanics or electricity will be considered and preferred;
• Good knowledge of computer systems: relevant experience with SCADA systems and PLCs, an asset.

• The position is based at the Mesgi’g Ugju’s’n site, QC.
• This position is a Level O3TE.
