Class 1 Driver / Yard Assistant

About Us

Covibro is a manufacturer of prefabricated wooden structures serving the residential, commercial, and multi-unit sectors. We are looking for a versatile individual to fill a position as a Class 1 Driver and Yard Assistant to support our transportation and production operations.

Main Responsibilities

Class 1 Driver

• Perform deliveries and pickups of materials in a safe manner.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip.
• Ensure that loads are compliant and properly secured.
• Complete the required transport documents.
• Provide professional service to our customers.
• Yard Assistant
• Load and unload trailers.
• Prepare orders for shipments.
• Receive goods.
• Move trailers around the yard.
• Keep the yard clean, safe, and organized.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, and logistics teams.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
• Good driving record.
• Experience with a forklift (an asset).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Sense of organization, autonomy, and team spirit.
• Good physical condition.
