Additionally, Fox Group Canada is expanding its portfolio of activities in Canada, and the Coach role is essential to support the future of Nike retail stores within the company.

Due to our exceptional success and expansion projects in Canada, we are looking for an experienced Coach to join our team! This position reports directly to the Head Coach (Store Manager).

Essential Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Assume all store management responsibilities in the absence of the Head Coach (Store Manager).
• Be a model of exemplary practices and oversee operational efficiency.
• Support the team in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators: sales, conversion rate, UPT, ADT, payroll, mystery visits, staff turnover, and stocking.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention standards and health and safety rules, and hold teams accountable.
• Communicate and implement action plans with Athletes regarding upcoming projects, goals, priorities, corporate initiatives, events, and promotions, according to management directives.
• Provide a high level of customer service by demonstrating excellent knowledge of all offered products.
• Offer constant coaching in sales, products, and training to ensure optimal customer service and sales results.
• Clearly communicate sales results, goals, and individual responsibilities to Athletes; ensure individual and collective accountability.
• Be a model and enable the team to offer a customer-focused experience, fostering a sales and service culture.
• Conduct coaching sessions with Leads and Athletes to ensure performance expectations are met.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and merchandised according to company standards.
• Hold Associates accountable for adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Be a 100% compliant model in health and safety, harassment, and loss prevention.
• Analyze sales reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support management in continuous training and ensure required follow-ups.
• Participate in Associate recruitment as needed, including pre-selections and interviews.
• Update the break room communication board.
• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Perform any other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the store, efficiently and in accordance with expected standards.

Backroom (Back of House)

• Monitor the flow of all shipments and ensure quick follow-up in case of discrepancies.
• Ensure the backroom is clean, organized, safe, and ready for seasonal transitions.
• Perform box counts and validate them with bills of lading; immediately report any anomalies, shortages, or damages.
• Always ensure compliance with PRE standards within the BOH team.
• Use the Refill time clock to improve the speed and efficiency of the BOH team.
• Manage the implementation and closure of markdowns and promotions within required deadlines.
• Support the sales team with product placement and restocking.
• Use proper reason codes, manage and complete discrepancies (mis-matches) according to P&P directives; follow transfer and RTV procedures.
• Review the PIV report, manage negative inventories, and implement reduction plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in retail.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, train, and coach others to a higher level of performance and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, if needed.
