Job Objective:
The Key Holder assists the supervisor and manager in all aspects of the store's daily operations, particularly regarding store opening and closing in accordance with company standards and delegating daily tasks to staff.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Business profitability
- Responsible for opening and closing the store on time, including activating and deactivating store alarms.
- Responsible for counting and reconciling cash registers and petty cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Perform daily vault checks.
- Use the cash register and point-of-sale system, exercise supervisor functions at the POS as needed.
- Manage transactions and cash register with honesty and integrity.
- Work with the store team to restock store tablets, barrels, tanks, buckets, and displays.
- Facilitate and assist in receiving orders from the Distribution Center and orders delivered directly to the store by suppliers, including checking the expiration dates of received products.
- Prepare and make daily bank deposits at the nearest TD bank.
- Submit daily documents to Headquarters.

- Collaborate with staff to perform daily tasks as required by the manager and supervisor and report issues to the supervisor and manager when they occur.
- Assign breaks to staff in accordance with company policies.
- Delegate tasks to staff as needed.
- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment.

- Assist customers to exceed their expectations.
- Ensure the store is clean at all times by following cleaning schedules and performing all tasks listed, including but not limited to: floors, barrels, shelving, windows, utensils, restrooms, exterior and interior of the store.
- Promote and strive to maintain well-being, health, and safety in the workplace by actively complying with all health and safety policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handling and sanitation certification, an asset
- 1 to 3 years of retail experience
- 1 year of experience working under pressure and performing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Intermediate communication skills
Employment Type: Temporary, part-time.
Hours: You must be available to work on a flexible schedule that includes mornings, days, and evenings, from Monday to Sunday. Your availability should be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
