Industrial Electromechanic

CBCO Alliance is looking for a meticulous and motivated Industrial Electromechanic to join its maintenance team.

Born from the union of three Quebec companies, CBCO Alliance specializes in the slaughtering and processing of pork. Since the beginning of its operations in 2020, the company is experiencing significant growth and is actively developing its teams to support its activities.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Electromechanic will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment by performing necessary repairs and maintenance.

*Main Tasks:*

The person holding the position will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Perform repairs on certain hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic components and equipment.
• Repair electrical equipment and connect electrical motors.
• Locate and properly repair automatic instruments and controls.
• Install speed variators and control equipment.
• Perform interventions in electrical panels as needed.
• Carry out cutting, welding, and mechanical adjustment work when necessary.
• Modify equipment and machinery.
• Perform disassembly, installation, and adjustment operations of food equipment and machinery.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and proper functioning of systems and equipment.
• Perform building maintenance as needed.
• Work according to the standards of hygiene and cleanliness in force.
• Read mechanical and electrical plans.
• *Desired Profile:*
• Good knowledge of mechanics and electricity.
• Good analytical capacity.
• Detail-oriented.
• Self-sufficient.
• Comfortable working in an environment with variable temperatures.
• Good knowledge of different work and measurement tools.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to lift weights up to 25 kg as needed.
• Knowledge of French or English language.
• *Requirements:*
• DEP/ AEC or Certificate (Mandatory)
• 3 years of similar experience in the field.
• Experience in the food/agro-food industry (Asset)
• Hold an apprentice card or C license (Asset)
