Cogeco Media is currently looking for an advertising consultant for its Montreal local sales team.

Under the direction of the local sales director, the chosen person will be responsible for the following: *MAIN* *RESPONSIBILITIES:*

• Responsible for the development of a portfolio of our digital products;
• Sell airtime and radio concepts to local clients and/or through advertising agencies;
• Gather and analyze customer needs;
• Prepare media plans and develop renewal strategies based on customer knowledge;
• Monitor market developments and maintain a strong presence to seize all opportunities and maximize sales;
• Maintain and optimize business relationships with current customers;
• Ensure follow-up of the sales cycle;
• Establish new business relationships (Business Development);
• Work closely with the station animation teams represented;
• Negotiate annual agreements with direct clients and agencies;
• Collaborate with teams and develop customized, multi-platform, and creative advertising solutions;
• *SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:*
• Team player!
• Excellent knowledge of digital sales;
• Sales representation experience (minimum 3 years);
• General knowledge of local media;
• Engaged, strategic, and results-oriented;
• Negotiation and business development skills;
• Knowledge of the media field is an asset;
• Related training (an asset);
• Excellent French both orally and in writing.
