ABOUT US

At OTA Immobilier, we manage and enhance our own residential property portfolio. To support the completion of our projects, we are looking for a self-reliant Carpentry Assistant / Residential Renovation Worker in good physical condition and interested in the "rough" (demolition and reconstruction).

YOUR ROLE

Integrated into our construction team and working closely with our experienced carpentry specialist, you will actively participate in the demolition, structural modification, and reconstruction projects of our buildings.

Your main responsibilities

• Assist the carpentry specialist in framing, carpentry, and structural work.
• Perform selective and safe demolition work (walls, floors, existing structures).
• Participate in reconstruction: installation of studs, plywood, subfloors, flooring, etc.
• Handle electrical and manual tools with precision and safety (saws, hammer drills, measuring buckets, etc.).
• Load, unload, transport, and prepare the required materials on the job sites.
• Maintain work areas clean, organized, and safe.

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Experience: Previous practical experience in residential renovation, demolition, or structural/framing work.
• Manual Skills: Good mastery of cutting and assembly tools.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding work (carrying heavy loads, standing work, repetitive movements).
• Assets: Possessing basic tools and having skill cards (though not mandatory for the position).
• Qualities: Reliability, punctuality, resourcefulness, and strong team spirit.
• Permit: Valid driver's license (an asset).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & CONDITIONS

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime (35 to 40 hours per week).
• Salary: Based on experience and skills.
• Compensation: Starting at $25.00 per hour
