Residential Property Maintenance Technician

Do you enjoy manual work and problem-solving?

We own and manage a real estate portfolio of approximately 220 recent units spread across only two sites (Mercier and Saint-Constant), located about 10 to 15 minutes apart from each other.

We are looking for an autonomous and versatile technician to handle the daily maintenance of our buildings.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $30 to $33 depending on experience.
• Permanent daytime position, Monday to Friday.
• 4 weeks of vacation (2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks during the holiday period).

• Maintenance vehicle provided during working hours.
• All necessary tools and equipment are provided.
• Modern and well-maintained real estate portfolio.
• Very few relocations: only two sites to manage.

Your responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs in the units and common areas.
• Carry out basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Perform drywall, painting, and hardware repairs.
• Prepare units between tenancies.
• Conduct preventive building inspections.
• Participate in exterior maintenance (lawn, general maintenance, sidewalks, and stairs in winter).
• Keep the vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition.
• Respond to service calls and provide excellent service to tenants.
• Intervene in emergency situations outside normal hours, when required.

• Excellent manual skills.

• Valid driver's license.

A residence on the South Shore of Montreal or near Ville Mercier is an asset.

To know

The technician starts the day at our Ville Mercier workshop, where the fully equipped maintenance vehicle is stationed. Relocations between buildings are then carried out with the employer-provided vehicle.
