JOB OFFER INTERNAL/EXTERNAL

The Phares School Service Centre is currently looking for candidates and applicants to fill a temporary position as the head of schools at Mont-St-Louis and Saint-Rosaire schools.

The school establishment management ensures the pedagogical, educational, and administrative management of all programs and resources of the school in order to promote the success of all students, in accordance with the Law on Public Instruction and the responsibilities defined by the School Service Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate in the evaluation of the school's needs and the definition of objectives, taking into account legal provisions, as well as the orientations, policies, regulations of the school service centre, and the school board.

Participate in the elaboration and implementation of the school's action plan and educational project aimed at achieving the targets of the Engagement Plan for Success (EPS).

Assist the management in the exercise of its functions and powers with the school board, participate in meetings, and apply the decisions of the latter.

Foster consultation between parents, students, the school team, and other stakeholders, as well as their participation in the life of the school and academic success.

Contribute to the resolution of operational problems and encourage teams to generate added-value innovations.

Coordinate, supervise, or collaborate on the implementation of activities, programs, or services in various areas of the school such as human resources, materials, or finances, information and communication technologies.

Exercise, upon request from the school establishment management, functions other than those of deputy head of school.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hold a bachelor's degree in education sciences or a first-cycle university degree in an appropriate field, completing a minimum of 3 years of studies, or hold a non-management or management position requiring a first-cycle university degree in a school service centre.

Hold a teaching certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Have at least five years of experience in a teaching or non-teaching professional position.

Be willing to engage in a specialized graduate studies program (DESS) in education management and complete it within five years following a regular appointment as deputy head of school.

WORK CONDITIONS

The salary and working conditions are determined by the *Regulation determining certain conditions of the cadres of school service centres* and the *Personnel Management Policy.*
