- Your Role
As a Front Desk Agent, you are the first smile our guests encounter and the last memory they take away from their stay.
As a true ambassador of our hotels, you provide warm, professional, and personalized service, ensuring compliance with Marriott International's excellence standards. You accompany our guests throughout their stay, from arrival to departure, anticipating their needs and creating a seamless, memorable, and effortless experience.
Through your service-oriented mindset, your diligence, and your ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, you actively contribute to our clientele's satisfaction and the operational success of the Courtyard® & Residence Inn® Montreal Airport.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently, courteously, and professionally welcome, register, and check out guests.
- Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations while informing guests of the hotel's policies.
- Maintain constant communication with various departments to coordinate arrivals, departures, priority rooms, VIP guests, and special requests.
- Quickly respond to guest requests and resolve situations professionally to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Verify and adjust charges to guest accounts and ensure billing accuracy.
- Perform cash transactions and daily reconciliations with diligence.
- Promote the hotel's services and contribute to maximizing revenue by offering appropriate products and services.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and Marriott-standard reception area.
- Always adhere to Marriott International's policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform any other tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.
Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in customer service (an asset).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and sense of hospitality.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Initiative, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with computer systems and hotel management software (PMS).
- Experience within an international hotel chain, particularly Marriott (an asset).
- Excellent French proficiency. English proficiency is required to communicate with an international clientele.
