Mecaer America Inc. is currently looking for a Shipper to join our team in Laval. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and shipping materials while ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Inspect materials upon receipt and report any damages or discrepancies
• Store materials in designated locations according to procedures
• Prepare shipping documentation and required paperwork
• Prepare and package materials for shipment
• Coordinate with carriers and transportation companies
• Load outgoing shipments
• Operate a forklift and other required equipment safely
• Maintain inventory accuracy within the department
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in shipping/receiving
• Forklift operation experience
• Comfortable using computer systems related to the role
• Strong communication skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg
• Functional level of English required

• Safely operate a forklift and other required equipment
• Maintain up-to-date inventory for the department
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in shipping/receiving
• Forklift operation experience
• Proficiency with computer systems related to the role
• Strong communication skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Available to work overtime when required
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg
