Job Presentation
The IT Infrastructure and Operations Director is responsible for the planning, management, availability, and evolution of the organization's technological infrastructures. They ensure the performance of IT services, lead the operations teams, and ensure that technological operations align with business objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks
- Ensure the availability, performance, resilience, and security of technological environments, including networks, servers, storage, telecommunications, workstations, cloud platforms, and data centers;
- Supervise daily IT operations, including user support, incident management, problem management, change management, and service level compliance;
- Lead, motivate, and develop infrastructure, operations, and technical support teams;
- Control expenses related to infrastructures, licenses, contracts, suppliers, and professional services;
- Implement governance, risk management, compliance, and service continuity practices, including succession plans, backups, and disaster recovery;
- Drive technological modernization initiatives, automation, process optimization, and continuous service improvement;
- Ensure proper management of technological assets, supplier contracts, capacities, licenses, and platform lifecycle;
- Collaborate closely with other IT departments, cybersecurity, business lines, external partners, and senior management to prioritize initiatives and ensure effective service delivery;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is an asset;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 5 years in an infrastructure, operations, or IT services management role;
- Demonstrated experience in complex, multisite, or critical operations technological environments;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments, networks, security, virtualization, storage, and backups;
- Experience with ITIL practices, supplier management, budget management, and IT service governance;
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance;
- Bilingualism in French and English, when required by the organizational context;
- Knowledge of ISO27001 (an asset);
- Motivational leadership, ability to influence and make decisions in complex environments;
- Experience in multisite IT service management;
- Strong understanding of hybrid, cloud, and on-site infrastructures, as well as availability, capacity, performance, and security issues;
- Experience in IT service management, ideally according to ITIL practices, including incidents, problems, changes, requests, and service levels;
- Ability to translate business needs into reliable, secure, and scalable technological solutions;
- Excellent communication, clarification, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Customer orientation, sense of urgency, operational rigor, and ability to maintain a high level of service quality;
- Ability to lead technological transformations, manage change, and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
Who Are We?
The Quebec Association for the Recovery of Beverage Containers (AQRCB) is the designated management organization (DMO) for the development, implementation, funding, and management of the modernized deposit system according to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. It brings together the various beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling, and valorization of beverage containers in the province of Quebec.
