The EPM / Financial Systems Solution Architect is responsible for technical leadership, solution integrity, delivery facilitation, and operational stability of Bombardier's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment, where OneStream serves as the strategic Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. This is a leadership role in IT architecture and platform governance, not a purely functional finance role. This role collaborates closely with Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, PMO, and vendors and system integrators to deliver scalable, secure, auditable, and easily supportable EPM capabilities.

The incumbent supports financial capabilities related to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, management reporting, financial close, account reconciliations, transaction reconciliations, scenario analysis, and financial analytics, while ensuring robust integration with SAP and enterprise data platforms.

What are your contributions to the team?

• 1. Lead EPM Solution Architecture and Platform Integration and Data Architecture
• Ensure responsibility for the end-to-end technical architecture, design standards, and platform guidelines of the EPM / OneStream platform.
• Translate Finance team needs into scalable IT solutions, architecture decisions, estimates, delivery approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
• Govern the OneStream application architecture, including metadata, dimensions, workflows, security, calculations, business rules, report structures, dashboards, and controls.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, audit, data governance, integration, and operational support standards.
• Review and approve solution designs produced by vendors, consultants, and system integrators.
• Design and govern integrations between OneStream and SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA, data warehouses, analytics platforms, HR systems, PLM / Teamcenter solutions, and other upstream and downstream applications.

2. Lead EPM Platform Operations and Governance

• Act as the IT platform owner / technical lead for OneStream operations, evolution, and new demand activities.
• Define the strategy for development, test, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production environments, as well as version management, deployment, and support standards.
• Ensure platform stability during critical financial cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and reporting to leadership.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, performance optimization, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation, governance model, operational handover processes, operational guides, and knowledge transfer activities.

3. Manage Demand, Delivery, and Vendor Performance

• Act as the IT entry point for EPM / OneStream-related requests, ensuring their receipt, prioritization, evaluation, sequencing, and delivery governance.
• Collaborate with PMO, product owners, Scrum Masters, Finance leaders, and system integrators to deliver predictable outcomes.
• Validate vendor proposals, technical estimates, licensing, support models, deliverables, and solution quality.
• Support a SAFe or value stream-based delivery model by aligning business priorities, platform roadmap, technical dependencies, and version planning.
• Ensure vendor accountability while developing internal expertise and reducing long-term reliance on external partners.
• Preferred Experience With the Following Platforms:

Experience with OneStream is strongly preferred; however, candidates with equivalent experience in EPM/CPM platform architecture will also be considered.

How will you thrive in this role?

• You hold a university degree in information technology, computer science, finance, accounting, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• You have 7 to 10 years (or more) of experience in IT solution architecture, enterprise applications, ERP, EPM/CPM platforms, financial systems, or data and integration architectures.
• You have experience in leading or supporting complex financial technology implementation projects within multi-vendor or system integrator delivery models.
• You have a strong understanding of enterprise application lifecycle management, architecture governance, integration models, security, controls, and operational support.
• You are able to effectively communicate with finance executives, IT leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Assets

• Experience in the aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, program costing, or complex product environments.
• Knowledge of PLM/Teamcenter systems, product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, product cost accounting, management accounting, financial aspects related to service bulletins, claim management, or program profitability analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Azure data services, enterprise integration platforms, or reporting architectures.
• Experience in developing internal capabilities, establishing platform governance, creating reusable standards, and managing vendor performance.
