Work Location: Quebec

Within the Mechanics and Electricity team, as a Project Manager:

  • Perform the charge and design of projects assigned to you;
  • Assign tasks, manage, and supervise technical personnel;
  • Assign tasks and coordinate work with technical personnel;
  • Validate design inputs, state assumptions, and specify design criteria for a project;
  • Perform calculations to propose technical approaches and design projects in building mechanics;
  • Prepare technical estimates and expertise reports;
  • Prepare cost estimates and implementation schedules for projects;
  • Monitor the execution of work by contractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and plans;
  • Coordinate projects with architects and project engineers;
  • Perform site surveys and estimate construction costs;
  • Review and annotate workshop drawings;
  • Coordinate tasks with designers assigned to the project;
  • Serve as the primary contact for the client on projects under your charge;
  • Participate in business development and market opening for the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience;
  • In-depth knowledge of the C.N.B. and other building codes;
  • Experience in fire protection or control and regulation (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software;
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
  • LEED, RCx, CEM, CMVP, or PMP certification (an asset);
  • Strong leadership, good communicator, team player, and efficient.
