The Project Cost Controller works closely with the project director to ensure the proper execution of the project. His tasks are primarily of a financial nature and, to a lesser extent, commercial/contractual.
The main responsibilities for this key role are as follows:
- Project cost management and control;
- Responsible for project reports (internal and external);
- Create and maintain projects in SAP;
- Generate invoices according to the terms and conditions of the project;
- Project cash flow forecasting;
- Management of foreign currencies;
- Management of changes including the preparation of change requests and claims to customers, suppliers and insurance;
- Management of contractual risks and support of the project strategy;
- Prepare and follow up on bond requests and Letters of Credit.

- Strong relational skills with the client, project management and team leadership;
- Good understanding of projects or the construction industry;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Autonomous with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams;
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables);
- Knowledge of financial and commercial issues related to business;
- Knowledge of insurance issues in a project context (an asset);
- Project management skills (an asset);
- Bilingual (French/English);
- Must have legal status to work in Canada.
