- Your role within our team
The Junior Project Manager – Environment and Contaminated Soil Management ensures the management of projects mainly related to environmental assessment and site characterization (Phases I and II). In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and carry out the various stages of the mandates, while ensuring the respect of deadlines, budgets, regulatory requirements, and the company's quality standards.
Remote work offered, or possibility to work from our offices located in ... or in Quebec.
Responsibilities related to the position
- Plan, organize, and follow up on all stages of environmental assessment and characterization projects;
- Actively participate in the preparation of service offers and service calls;
- Ensure smooth communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors;
- Ensure the respect of deadlines, budgets, and technical requirements of the projects;
- Coordinate and supervise technicians and subcontractors on site;
- Compile data, interpret results, and write reports;
- Perform budgetary follow-ups and proceed with project billing;
- Participate in site work when required (drilling, sampling, etc.);
- Collaborate actively with other departments in an integrated approach;
- Apply and promote best practices in occupational health and safety.

Requirements and education
- Bachelor's degree in geological engineering, geology, geography, or a related field in the environment;
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in environmental assessment and characterization (internships will be considered);
- Knowledge of the main laws and regulations applicable to the environment in Quebec;
- Good sense of organization and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
- Excellent teamwork skills and good communication skills;
- Autonomy, initiative, rigor, and attention to detail;
- Interest in developing technical skills and evolving in a multidisciplinary environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to make occasional trips on site.
