The Position

Under the authority of the Head of Accounting Services – Peripheral Office, the incumbent will perform administrative tasks related to the accounting and control of the financial operations of the various gaming establishments of the Société des casinos du Québec. They will ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of operational controls, the reliability of financial information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the guidelines established by senior management and in accordance with the organization's risk tolerance.

You will:

• Analyze data, document files, and perform reconciliation and management of anomalies and discrepancies to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information;
• Analyze data and document files for the purposes of monthly and year-end accounting;
• Perform control tests to ensure an acceptable level of financial risk and to ensure the efficiency of operations;
• Participate in the optimization and efficiency of practices, as well as the evolution of financial control procedures and directives;
• Take on various ad hoc projects and carry out assignments (changes in operational modes, changes in activities, new projects, new products, etc.);
• Validate the recording of revenues;

Essential Requirements

• College diploma in accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in equivalent functions
