Building Manager

The MAA Sports Club, recognized for the excellence of its facilities and the quality of experience offered to its members, is currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator. Reporting to management, the selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the proper operation of the Club’s facilities, maintaining a safe, clean, and high-standard environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure the overall condition of the building, including sports areas, locker rooms, pools, hot tub, steam rooms, and common spaces
• Plan and oversee interventions from external contractors and service providers
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance, repair, and improvement needs
• Respond efficiently to internal maintenance requests and ensure proper follow-up
• Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, particularly for aquatic and high-traffic areas
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement of operations
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of tools, equipment, and supplies

Qualifications

• Education in building mechanics or a related field
• Experience in pool and steam room maintenance (an asset)
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC (TRANE connect software), plumbing, and electrical
• Experience in construction or renovation project management
• Experience in a sports or similar environment (an asset)
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive mindset and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
