As a Salesforce Designer, you will contribute to the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and integrated technological solutions that will enhance our clients' experience, simplify the work of our teams, and support our organization's growth ambitions.

What You Will Accomplish with Us

As a Salesforce Designer, you will be at the heart of modernizing our technological ecosystem. You will:

Design detailed architecture and technical solutions that meet business needs and technological directions of the Horizon program.

Develop and implement high-performance, secure, reusable, and enterprise-integrated software components.

Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, development teams, and technology partners to ensure the consistency and longevity of solutions.

Act as a technical reference for delivery teams, ensuring compliance with design, integration, development, and cybersecurity standards.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices and the automation of development, deployment, and operations environments.

Participate in the support, operationalization, and evolution of technological applications and systems.

Mentor and support resources involved in the design and implementation of solutions while fostering knowledge sharing.

Participate in the resolution of major incidents and provide Level 3 production support according to the established rotation with the team.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

Has more than 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 3 years in a software design role.

Demonstrates excellent mastery of modern software design principles, including SOLID, Clean Code, maintainability, testability, and component reusability.

Proactively, responsibly, and effectively uses artificial intelligence tools to optimize work, improve the quality of deliverables, and contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices and processes.

Is recognized for expertise in solution architecture, application integration, APIs, and microservices in complex environments.

Has solid experience with DevSecOps practices and continuous integration in cloud environments.

Demonstrates technical leadership, influence, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for various stakeholders.

Possesses excellent analytical skills, rigor, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Has relevant experience with Salesforce and its enterprise components (LWC, Apex, OmniStudio) as well as the integration of corporate platforms.

Demonstrates a proactive approach in the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity and the quality of deliverables.

Has knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry, an asset.

Advanced English proficiency since the person will be required to collaborate, lead technical discussions, participate in design workshops, and regularly interact with English-speaking colleagues, suppliers, and partners outside Quebec on a weekly basis.

Technologies Sought: Salesforce, LWC, Apex, OmniStudio, Salesforce integration, and Salesforce DevOps practices,

Azure DevOps/Pipelines (YAML), Git, GitHub Copilot, REST / API, MuleSoft (or equivalent integration experience)

Assets: Terraform, Java, Rancher, .NET Core (C#), ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure Cloud, Kafka (Confluent Cloud), SQL Server, PowerShell, Bash,
