As a Accounting Manager in Canada, you will play a key role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements while contributing to the performance and compliance of our accounting department. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with three levels of reporting: local, regional, and central.
- Prepare the schedule of fixed assets and record the corresponding accounting entries.
- Prepare the necessary documentation for verifications (internal and external audits).
- Analyze (justify deviations from the budget) and reconcile various accounts in the general ledger and banks.
- Ensure the production and updating of reports on vendor accounts, customer accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Process end-of-month provisions for the preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare the report for monthly TPS/TVQ payments.
- Provide expertise and support to the team to apply best practices within the department.
- YOUR PROFILE
Required Degree and Experience Level
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting and have at least 5 years of experience in accounting. Experience within an international company is a plus.
- CPA/Accountant title, an asset
Required Technical Knowledge and Skills
- You are bilingual French/English (a good level of English is required to ensure effective communication with internal teams located abroad)
- You are proficient in Excel (particularly pivot tables)
- You are recognized for your dynamism, availability, and empathy. You are also a person who adapts quickly to changes, and setting up processes does not scare you.
- Experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including billing and payments.
- Adaptability, ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, and flexibility to help your team as needed
- Sense of priorities, planning and organization skills
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision

Salary: $90,000 to $95,000 per year
