ACTIVITIES:

The tasks and responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer include the following:

  • Manage all aspects of the company.
  • Overall responsibility for the financial success of the property, including budget management, forecasting, yield, and revenue. Develop, prepare, execute, and achieve financial objectives.
  • Manage all revenue sources. Maintain a fair market share. The goal would be to maintain established cost and quality standards, maximize profits, train and retain employees, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of business plans, including sales and marketing plans.
  • Determine the hotel's pricing strategy regarding room inventory and anticipated market segment composition to exceed occupancy rate by market share with a yield rate higher than the market.
  • Leadership and management of all departments and employees. Supervise daily operations. Control purchases and inventory.
  • Represent the hotel to appropriate hotel, tourism, and commercial associations. Responsible for strong community involvement.
  • Create an environment ensuring total customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate, promote, implement, and maintain all brand and management group policies, procedures, and standards to employees and customers throughout the hotel.
  • Ensure that all appropriate systems and controls are in place to produce monthly financial reports that accurately explain operational efficiency, trends, and deviations, and indicate at all times whether the hotel is adhering to its budget.
  • Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting continuous evaluations and investigating complaints. Take corrective measures as needed.
  • Recruit, supervise, mentor, discipline, and evaluate direct reports.
  • Protect the hotel and its assets by applying and maintaining a preventive maintenance program, ensuring employee and customer safety, operational regularity, good appearance, brand standards, and compliance with laws.

COMPETENCIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, and decision-making.
  • Ability to interact and coach professionally at all levels of management and staff.
  • Experience in personnel management: recruitment, training, and motivation.
  • Experience in developing and executing business, marketing, sales, and operating budgets.
  • Proven experience in revenue management, exceeding market share and sales objectives.
  • Superior knowledge of computer systems.
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
  • Strong financial planning, revenue management, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data and establish appropriate action plans.
  • Excellent time management, calculation, and analysis skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The candidate must possess the skills and experience necessary to lead a team to consistently provide exceptional customer service and effectively increase revenue.
  • Must be a concrete, results-oriented leader with high ethics, personal responsibility, and proven.
  • Background as an exceptional communicator, coach, and mentor to ensure high performance and superior customer service.
