We are looking for a
Territory Manager to join our sales team in Saint-Augustin.
Mission
Territory managers are responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients within a defined geographic territory. They collaborate with different departments of the company to increase the sales of new and used construction equipment. They maintain relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Sell Nors products to increase company sales.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through site visits and prospecting efforts.
- Provide timely monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for their territory.
- Gather information needed to evaluate used equipment for resale to ensure an adequate assessment according to market conditions and resale value.
- Prepare preliminary cost sheets before concluding new transactions to ensure fair and accurate pricing based on customer needs, inventory levels, equipment availability, and competitive pricing.
- Act as a liaison between the client and various services to ensure smooth and timely completion of transactions.
- Participate in requests for quotes (RFQ) and requests for proposals (RFP) to meet client needs for equipment and services and parts.
- Update client information in the CRM system to ensure smooth communication between the client and various departments of the company.
- Monitor shipments (sales/deliveries) and clients to ensure equipment is delivered on schedule.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster future sales and services.
- Technical Skills
- Strong leadership skills combined with extensive experience in all aspects of IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Ability to plan and implement advanced technological and business solutions while maintaining a focus on financial results.
- Excellent knowledge of Volvo products and ability to promote their quality to clients.
Education
- Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant professional experience in the sales field.
- Health and Safety
- Familiarize yourself with the legal requirements for health and safety at work under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations, and comply with them.
