Parts Counter Clerk

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Clerk to join its team! The Parts Counter Clerk will be an essential member of the Parts team as the main point of contact with customers. They will provide consistently high-quality service while advising and distributing parts.

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Compensation: $49,845.00 - $62,305.00 *The base salary indicated is only one component of our total compensation program. Discretionary or performance-based bonuses may also be awarded.*

In a typical workday, YOU will perform the following tasks

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally respectful work behaviors in accordance with Toromont's health and safety policies, programs, and initiatives
• Coordinate daily parts functions, including stocking, ordering, backorders, basic processing, picking, and delivering parts to internal and external customers
• Process orders by email and phone, and sell parts at the counter
• Ensure customer needs are met efficiently, competently, and professionally
• Maintain physical and electronic parts inventory and assemble hydraulic hoses according to Cat standards
• Process all core returns and warranty parts

Required skills for this position

• Minimum of post-secondary education
• Three or more years of experience in the heavy equipment and/or parts counter field
