Team Lead - Industrial Painting (Finishing)

In the context of our growth, we are looking for a Team Lead in Industrial Painting who will play a key role in the development of our finishing department. If you are an experienced painter who enjoys both hands-on work and team mobilization, this opportunity is for you.

*The challenges you'll face*

Reporting to the Plant Director, you will oversee the finishing department and directly contribute to increasing our production capacity.

This is a hybrid role: you will actively participate in preparation and painting work while ensuring the coordination of your team's activities. Your leadership will be essential to organize work, maintain quality standards, and promote efficient production.

You will accompany a team of approximately four employees in an environment where respect, collaboration, and quality are part of the daily routine.

*Your daily routine will look like:*

• Prepare pieces before painting (cleaning, sanding, and stripping);
• Apply paint to steel pieces using a spray gun, roller, or brush, depending on project requirements;
• Perform touch-ups and quality inspections;
• Plan, allocate, and coordinate the work of the finishing team;
• Support and guide employees in their daily tasks;
• Collaborate with different departments to meet production priorities;
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment;
• Actively participate in improving department productivity.
• *The profile we are looking for*

Education and Experience

• Diploma in Industrial Painting or relevant experience;
• Significant experience in industrial painting or steel painting;
• Experience in team supervision or coordination in a manufacturing environment (a plus).

Key Skills

• Excellent mastery of paint application using a spray gun, roller, and brush;
• Good knowledge of surface preparation (sanding, stripping, and cleaning);
• Good understanding of the realities of a manufacturing environment;
• Advanced French.
