Status: Full-time, permanent (Year-round)

Hours: Monday to Thursday (9 hours/day), Friday short week (8 hours/day)

Your Role and Daily Challenges

As a Foreman, you will set the example on the job site. You will work with your team while ensuring the daily management and coordination of the work:

• Job Site Management and Leadership:

Supervise and coach teams ranging from 2 to 6 people (apprentices and journeymen).

• Planning and Tracking:

Plan daily work to meet deadlines and submitted times.

• Quality and Safety:

Ensure flawless execution of work according to plans and estimates for flat roof compositions.

• Coordination:

Act as the point of contact on the job site with the general contractor, with assurance and diplomacy.

• Simple On-Site Tracking:

Take photos of work progress (deposited on OneDrive) and record team hours.

• Logistics:

Use the company's cube truck to travel to job sites and visit the Saint-Romuald office 1 to 2 times a week for materials.

What We Are Looking For

• Mandatory Certification:

Current CCQ Roofing Journeyman Card.

• Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in membrane roofs/flat roofs.

• Natural Leadership:

A profile focused on mentorship and example, capable of rallying the team, creating a climate of trust, and making the team perform.

• Stress Management and Assurance:

Capable of managing the pressure from general contractors on the job site without passing it on to the team and knowing when to put your foot down.
