Installer-Assembler

Distributor of Carrier Transicold throughout Quebec for over 25 years, Nordic Refrigeration serves a wide customer base primarily from the food, medical, and railway sectors. Nordic offers its solid expertise in the sale, installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration equipment for all models of trucks or trailers.

We are currently looking for a new installer-assembler to join our fleet.

Here is the daily routine of our mechanical installers:

• Read and interpret installation instructions including technical drawings with dimensions, electrical schematics, and refrigeration plans;
• Modify and adjust customer equipment to install the various options of the units and accessories;
• Assemble and install using tools and manuals for refrigeration accessories;
• Measure and cut refrigeration piping, connect and connect using welding and brazing materials;
• Perform electrical wiring of DC (direct current) and AC (alternating current) components;

Requirements for mechanical installers

• Training in general mechanics, diesel, heavy equipment, or construction equipment;
• 2 years of relevant experience in the mechanical, aeronautical, or construction field (understanding of electrical, electronic schematics, and/or refrigeration knowledge);
• Knowledge in assembly, wiring, and wiring;
• Concern for well-done work;
• Good manual dexterity;
• Attention to detail, rigor, and precision
• Working hours for mechanical installers:
• 40 hours / week
• Day shift (from 06:00 to 14:30)
