Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the HR intern will actively contribute to various aspects of human resources while participating in projects that have a direct impact on the employee experience, engagement, and organizational culture of PMR.

This paid internship represents an excellent opportunity to gain practical and diverse experience in a dynamic industrial environment. The intern will be involved in several HR areas, including talent acquisition, new employee integration, internal communications, health and safety, employee relations, and continuous improvement of HR practices.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the complete recruitment cycle, including writing and updating job descriptions, posting jobs, searching for applications, pre-selecting resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Contribute to the development of recruitment initiatives and employer branding.
  • Support the onboarding and integration processes for new employees.
  • Participate in initiatives that promote employee engagement, mobilization, recognition, and retention.
  • Participate in the organization of activities and events aimed at strengthening the company culture.
  • Update employee files and ensure the accuracy of HR documentation.
  • Support the administrative follow-up of employee programs, including group insurance and other benefits.
  • Support health and safety activities, including coordinating training and maintaining records.
  • Participate in the writing and distribution of internal communications.
  • Contribute to various HR projects, such as policy reviews, process improvements, engagement surveys, retention interviews, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Answer common employee questions and direct them to the appropriate resources.

Desired Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Have a strong interest in employee experience, organizational culture, talent acquisition, and talent development.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, priority management, and attention to detail.
  • Show autonomy, initiative, and a proactive approach.
  • Have good communication skills in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Be solution-oriented and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
