Hourly Rate: According to current policy ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION: Omega Community Resources is a community organization offering various support services to adults with mental health, including a day center, group home, and supervised apartments.

Under the supervision of the Residential Coordinator MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Promotes positive and appropriate social interactions and serves as a role model.
• Receives, verifies, organizes, and distributes prescribed medications to residents.
• Ensures residents adhere to regulations and code of conduct.
• As needed, provides follow-up support to residents in completing their activities.
• Intervenes with tenants in crisis prevention and intervention.
• Ensures the safety and well-being of residents and the building.
• Practices active listening and provides individual support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Studied in the following fields: psychology, social work, special education, or related field;
• Minimum of one year of experience working with a population living with mental health.
• Empathy, flexibility, sensitivity, organizational skills, good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Understanding and interest in working within a community-based mental health model.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bilingual

• On Call: Morning, Evening, Night
• Employment Type: Permanent, Occasional
• Compensation: $24.48 per hour
• Location: On-site
