Gerontechnology Solutions Advisor

Within the gerontechnology innovation hub of Joliette MRC, the Gerontechnology Solutions Advisor plays a central role in technological brokering. They support citizens, community organizations, healthcare professionals, and housing establishments in identifying and integrating innovative solutions that promote elderly individuals' ability to stay at home. The main challenge is to translate innovative technological solutions into concrete benefits for diverse client groups.

Main Tasks and Functions

• Conduct digital and technological diagnostics for establishments and citizens to identify their needs.
• Identify, qualify, and support projects for the integration of gerontechnology solutions (safety, well-being, support for family caregivers, organizational efficiency).
• Follow integration projects from recommendation to deployment.
• Create and maintain a catalog of innovative solutions that promote elderly individuals' ability to stay at home and improve their quality of life.
• Maintain an active watch on new gerontechnologies and available subsidy programs.
• Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with actors in the aging sector (residences, OMH, OBNL, senior homes, tech companies).
• Document and highlight the impacts and outcomes of completed projects.

Required Skills

• DEC in a relevant field (technologies, sales) or any combination of education and experience deemed relevant.
• Experience in customer service, technologies, or a field related to aging or health.
• Proficiency with technological products, digital platforms, and project management tools; mastery of the Office suite.
• Adaptability: adjusts approach and level of vulgarization according to the interlocutor's profile (elderly citizen, manager, healthcare professional).
• Excellent relational skills, active listening, diligence, autonomy, and organizational sense.
• Knowledge of the Joliette MRC territory and interest in artificial intelligence tools (assets).

Compensation and Working Conditions

• Work location: Joliette MRC office, Joliette.
• Permanent position, 35 hours per week.
• Hourly wage between $30 to $35, depending on experience and qualifications.
