Your daily challenges
- Assume the responsibilities related to the supervision, coordination, and control of the activities of the work teams assigned to the equipment, the infrastructure of the faculty, as well as to sterilization. Develop work schedules, estimate the workforce, materials, and equipment needed based on priorities.
- Coordinate, control, guide, accompany, inform, and communicate with internal and external resources assigned to the maintenance, installation of equipment, and/or during work in clinics and laboratories.
- Be responsible for the optimal management of inventories and service contracts. Advise and accompany the management on purchases, during work, for contract management, or for any other activities related to buildings and equipment.
- Manage the supply, orders, and inventory control of supplies, equipment, and devices, in collaboration with managers and the administrative director. Analyze discrepancies to determine their causes. Propose and implement structured and sustainable solutions to minimize or eliminate inventory imbalances.
- Plan and coordinate work planned in the infrastructure, relocations, installation, and maintenance of equipment, taking into account the needs for infrastructure adjustments and operational constraints.
- Ensure the follow-up of the preventive maintenance program of the equipment and coordinate it to avoid premature wear. Advise the management on the renewal of equipment, considering the service life, the number of repairs performed, the cost associated with repairs, the use of the equipment, and the evolution of needs. Plan a replacement schedule for the equipment to help the administrative director in the planning of budgetary expenses.
What you need to succeed in this role
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, mechanical, industrial, or building engineering, or in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with experience in personnel management.
- Proficiency in computer-based inventory management and maintenance of equipment and/or buildings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
